Minnequa Works Credit Union proudly took center stage — both literally and figuratively — at this year’s On The Hook Karaoke Fundraiser, hosted by the United Way of Pueblo County. The credit union was recognized as the Top Fundraising Organization, helping raise thousands of dollars in support of United Way’s vital programs that uplift and empower our local community.
Held in the heart of Pueblo, On The Hook brings together local leaders and organizations for a night of karaoke, camaraderie, and charitable giving. The event showcases the power of people coming together for a purpose — and this year, the Minnequa Works team brought both their generosity and vocal talents to the spotlight.
Leading the charge were CEO, Nathan Cape, and Chief Growth Officer, June Hammond, who wowed the crowd with their crowd-pleasing rendition of “Shallow,” made famous by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. Their performance earned applause, laughs, and — most importantly — support for a cause that touches lives across Southern Colorado.
